Good idea. I've added it to the TODO.

Flash Player 10 can in theory also load files from your local hard drive:
http://www.mikechambers.com/blog/2008/08/20/reading-and-writing-local-files-in-flash-player-10/
which would be a neat solution to this 'use case'.

I'd like to keep P2 compatible with FP9.5 where possible, not least  
because I sometimes develop on a PowerPC Mac, and FP10 Debug Player  
isn't available for PPC. But it might be possible to make it backward  
compatible. Will look into it.

crossdomain.xml files are a royal PITA.
