The POST requests are a workaround to stop Flash Player's stupid caching behaviour during development - otherwise Flash caches everything incredibly aggressively, so when you edit icons/preset files/whatever, Flash doesn't deliver the new files through to P2. If you POST rather than GET, it doesn't cache.
But the workaround is good for some servers (e.g. Apache) and not others. IIRC Andy encountered this problem and solved it - Andy, could you explain what you did?
