You might well be right, I don't really take much notice of the endless tagging wibble. The Potlatch 1 tag preset files are pretty simple text files so you should be able to patch this quite trivially (they're all in config/potlatch in the Rails port). I don't currently have a git setup to patch any of the Rails port stuff so can't help you right now, sorry.
