#3631: Usability: Discoverability of adding additional node in way is low

Adding a node in an existing way is probably a high-likelihood activity.
Yet at present it is non-discoverable, requiring a keyboard shortcut
(Shift).
This non-discoverability is made worse because, when a way is selected,
and Shift pressed, no indication is given of this, e.g. a half-shaded
'ghost' point (that roughly follows the mouse position) or something like
that.
As there is no current action assigned to assigning double-click while
mouseovering an existing line, adding this while retaining the current
Shift-click behaviour may be possible.
