As I said, more a feature than a bug, but...

It sometimes gets stuck for quite a while at the "Creating changeset"
stage, as if the server has lost the request for a changeset-id. If
you cancel and re-save (retyping your changeset comment) then it quite
often goes straightaway. Would it be possible to have a shorter
timeout on the creating changeset stage?

(I can put this in trac if it's a nice-to-have-bit-fiddly-maybe-later)
