Not _totally_ obsolete. It's just that the instance at 
random.dev.openstreetmap.org is currently not being updated. I'm sure it 
will be again in a day or two, but until Dave fixes it, you can pull 
down the latest SWF from 
http://www.openstreetmap.org/potlatch2/potlatch2.swf if you need it.
