 When a way is selected, it would be nice to somewhere show its length in
 real terms.

 Use cases:

  1. Sanity checking ("wait, this highway I selected is only 1.2km long?")
  2. Applying linear knowledge ("this road was sealed for the first 15km")
  3. Better sense of scale

 We could possibly incorporate distances into various alerts, confirmations
 etc ("way moved 520m").

 Is this harder to do than I think? Pythagoras on spherical-projected
 points gives a pretty accurate answer, right?
