 You're almost certainly logged in though - everything is pushed further
 down when you are not logged in as there is extra information in the
 sidebar. There are also other notices which appear from time to time and
 push things even further down.

 I would rather replace the "mailing lists" link with a link to a general
 page with information on communication channels than add extra links.

 You are of course free to provide a patch and if there is a consensus
 among the developers that it should be merged then we will do so.
