[openstreetmap-website] Site cleanup (#150)

Looking at the screenshots on the blog post, I really like the changes! Especially all pages aside the front-page (diaries, changesets, user profiles) — much cleaner and easier to read.

One suggestion I'd like to add is to change the harsh dark blue color on the links to something more subtle and aesthetically pleasing... It dominates most pages at the moment.

Another thing that is not directly related to this pull but was always bugging me is the "examples" block under the search bar on the front page. It grabs too much unneeded attention despite being much less important as other text/links on the page. Perhaps we could hide it into a popup or a tooltip that appears on hover and focus? It would free up space to style all the other sidebar stuff better.
