 I'm somewhat reluctant to do this because much of the language data we
 have for users is very low quality as it is largely derived from whatever
 random rubbish their browser sent when they signed up, or the first time
 they logged in after we add the language setting.

 There's also a privacy question about whether the users have an
 expectation that we would make this visible.
