 When a user sends another user a message through the site the receiving
 user also gets an email telling them they've received a message. That user
 can then either login to osm.org to reply or reply directly in email.

 When you reply through email the other user receives the message both on
 the website and their email. The one thing that doesn't happen is the
 message is not added to the sending messages threading.

 This makes it confusing for users to know if they have replied to a
 message or not.
