[openstreetmap-website] Official Road Routing via multiple providers (#381)

How to apply? Emailing on the dev list or some OSMF committee? How will the development process be? Should someone just start with an implementation or is this waste of time?

Before doing so we at least need to clarify if pure JavaScript is allowed. Who decides this? Community or OSMF?

Sorry, if too many questions but the decision making process for OSM is not that clear (to me)...
