> When I first load the site, I see z0 tiles for the whole world, showing a strip of little earths across the page. Chrome (28.0.1500.71) shows me Northern Europe.

This may not be a bug. There are various ways of determining the starting location, including cookies and IP geolocation.

Multiple people have pointed out a problem with search results not loading individual features when clicked. This is a result of the fact that Nominatim's results include the IDs of features in the main OSM database, which aren't present on the dev server. We'll fix this to at least show the correct error message. On the real server it should work as expected.

> One very minor issue I see: the tooltips on the right side menu are filled with a transparent white and don't have a border EXCEPT for the little arrow pointing to the right which has a gray one.

@tyrasd - I filed an issue for the add note button issue. The search behavior (other than the bug mentioned above) is by design. I think integrating the Nominatim results more closely with the browse pages is an improvement. It makes sense that search functionality on OSM.org is first and foremost a way to look up features in the OSM database.

@Zverik - It is odd, but not a regression from this PR.
