Honey pots and captchas are two entirely different things, so can you clarify what exactly this is and how it works?

If it only stops simple bots then I have to question whether it will do anything at all, as I imagine simple bots are already blocked, if they ever worked at all. Of course that all rather depends on what you consider simple.

In any case all indications are that the majority of problematic signups are actually not bots at all but are real live humans in low wage economies being paid to create accounts.
