Hey Charlotte,
Talking about latitude and longitude, I think you can can edit them in the url for e.g. https://www.openstreetmap.org/edit#map=18/23.22940/72.70623 <https://www.openstreetmap.org/edit#map=18/23.22940/72.70623>, has a zoom level of 18 and (23.222, 72.706) as the lat/long pair.
I hope this can address the problem or do you want a GUI fix for this problem?
