Thanks for this, but I went with an alternative implementation (1a66467ef610901163e3dd15167a66df7af1b4d2) in the end that avoids the screen size test and means the banner appears/disappears as the screen is resized.

I also managed to get rid of the `!important` rules by making them more specific so they match the common stylesheet properly.
