@gravitystorm, it seems a little wierd to reprimand someone for "snark" in a "community" that doesn't have a code of conduct. Its also pretty onesided if you do the same to woodpeck for his comments. Which clearly weren't productive and were needlessly dissmisive toward the people that want to see this implimented. 

Given tomhuges original none reason for not wanting to implement it and the lack of a subsequent clear reason why it wouldnt be a benefit, it seemed like stubornness. If that's a bad call on my part though, I apologize. But off hand dissmissiveness without a good reason, which he's also done in other issues about making the site more mobile friendly, isnt a good way to go either. I know he's the maintainer and has ultimate say though.

I appreciate your willingness to engage in disscussion about things and the fact that you provide alternatives a lot more then I do how he handles thing. To each his own though I guess, but there's no reason he couldnt be a little more approachable about things. But I still respect where he's coming from. It probably gets tiring having to explain things repeatedly and in detail to people who aren't on his level (I mean as a maintainer and whatnot).
