[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] Transform the web site into a fullscreen web app (#1558)

Is it possible for this change to be merged please? It makes a big difference on cheaper phones with small screens, as the browser uses up a lot of screen space with the URL bar, menu bar, etc., making it harder to use the map. 

It's 2020 now and there are next to no disadvantages of this change. I've now come to expect websites to open in fullscreen when I pin them to my phone's home screen. 

I'd be happy to help if it's more complicated than just merging this pull request (_which also addresses issue #1250_).
