Great, that's good to hear.

I'm going to set aside your specific proposals for the moment, and we can come back to them at some point later. First I want to focus on some of the more general points that you have made.

My advice would be to not try to do too many things at once! In your first ever involvement with the project, you proposed:

* Creating a new design system
* Changing the organisational structure
* Creating a new working group
* Hiring a paid developer
* Introducing gamification
* Undertaking user surveys

... and that wasn't even everything! I admire the ambition, but I would recommend that if you want to see tangible progress in a reasonable amount of time, then you will need to focus fewer things, otherwise there's a real risk that these won't happen at all, or that you will see lots of unfocussed discussion and little overall progress and might get discouraged or frustrated.

The second thing that I would encourage is to ask more questions, and make some investigations, before proposing large changes. For example, you say that we should hire a developer full-time to work on design, but would that be the most important thing for our first full time developer to work on? You suggest gamification badges, but have you researched any history of gamification in OpenStreetMap? Have you asked the maintainers about the existing organisational structure, before proposing a new one? Are you aware of what our current design system is, what its limitations are, and why we have chosen it? And so on and so forth. By taking more time to understand the current situations, your proposals (and their likelihood of success) will be greatly improved.

Overall, It's great to have a large goal in mind. But to achieve your "reimagining", we need to break it down into smaller parts. We're all volunteers here so I'm not going to tell you what to do next, the choice is yours. But please let me know if I can help with anything.
