Example of https://antonkhorev.github.io/osm-note-viewer/ with mobile phone settings, with line breaks disabled to conserve vertical spacing:

I go even further here: the table is wider than the screen.

Note that the *comment* column is the last one. If you are not interested in reading the entire comment, just don't scroll horizontally. But you have the opportunity to do it.

If 100%-wide tables are *not working* just because of their width, this example is super not working. Of course I disagree with that.
