In general I'm the wrong person to ask on this - I'm not involved in the OSMF OWG or sysadmin teams, so I don't know what settings they've enabled or if they are having behind-the-scenes discussions. I know that most things in their chef configuration are public, but there's also some private parts of that and I'm not sure how they interact so I can't tell for sure (from the outside) if it's enabled or not.
