[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] Adds checking if trace files have GPX extensions (PR #5117)

As @mmd-osm says there is no such restriction - even ignoring the fact that we accept a wide variety of formats that are not simple GPX files it's not clear to me that there's any good reason to insist on a `.gpx` extension even for GPX files.
