[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] catch invalid URLs instead of just showing somewhere else (#1198)

TBH, I don't see the need for this. If you copy and paste the URL from the browser windows and send the URL to someone else, everything will be fine. I don't see where the invalid URL should come from in the first place. You're not manually trying to come up with these invalid urls, do you?
