[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] add optional coordinate epoch to nodes (#3203)

I'm wondering if anyone has started any prototype work on the subject. Are there any other new findings that are worth sharing?

I tend to close this issue, since it's not really actionable in its current form. It anyway needs much wider osm ecosystem involvement to move forward.
