I'd rank the Options 4 > 1 > 3 > 2 (current), since these performance issues came up.

But (as previously mentioned) [Option 4 for Tracestrack](//console.tracestrack.com/explorer) has _the same_ Issues.

If the users should have an option to toggle the color scheme for the UI, the same goes for the map.
