It was in active development, six months ago. It would have been difficult to miss it for anyone following this repo. Discord and forums are probably wrong places to look at in this case. But I made [one related pull request in the iD repo](https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/pull/10215). I also commented [here](https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/issues/8214#issuecomment-2066949647).
> Is this an "everyone who watched every single commit in this repo" everyone
Everyone who has the ability to find the pull request that *broke their website*.
> In 6 months no one has noticed anything wrong with it
One thing was wrong, the filter was applied twice. Yes, no one noticed it in 6 months.
> or realized that a better proposal already [existed](https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/2332#issuecomment-867821340)? Crazy.
This one: *enable my rotation filter [ignoring problems with hillshading](https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/5328#issuecomment-2480681357)*?
