hexdotooo created an issue (openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website#6290)

At some point recently a "past usernames" slug was added to user profile pages. This decision was made without considering any of the multiple significant reasons of personal privacy why a person might wish to change their username.

For example, me. I'm trans. I have an old account that I'm no longer using, and renamed a long time ago. It now has my deadname prominently displayed at the top and there's no way for me to do anything about it. Thanks a lot!!

Please roll back this misfeature as soon as possible and seek contributor input before implementing anything similar in future. I also recommend that whoever was involved with building it obtain a copy of the book ["Design for Safety" by Eva PenzeyMoog](https://bookshop.org/p/books/design-for-safety/0d9c9ef1bc1f07ef?ean=9798218504403&next=t), which details the importance of taking into account the potential for abuse of the systems that you build. The discussion of stalking is of particular relevance here._
