Works without trouble or anything beyond the docs in VSCode. Since I couldn't be bothered to dig into why the recent DB migration confused Mise or RubyLSP (just some warnings), I let the setup download everything again.
2.28 GB were downloaded all in all (40 MB up); perhaps that could land here:

I don't have much of a sample size to see how #6589 affects the devcontainer CI runs, but Docker seems to get along better with it.
Otherwise, this is ready for me.
