That wasn’t my suggestion. I was just confirming the steps to reproduce what you were seeing, before segueing into a discussion about how to make it better. Now that we have enough information, I’ve opened #6618 to track your feedback. Note that this isn’t just about OSM Carto; in the context of #6234, other raster featured layers would also be affected. The point of starting with the dashboard map was precisely to identify potential issues before they come up in retrofitting more prominent maps elsewhere on the site.
