I think it definitely needs more work on the re-enablement but I'm not sure there's a good way to do it without changing the way the download works.

I'm not actually sure that you even need that code as I think rails does it already but it does so as soon as the initial form post returns so doesn't include the time take to do the real work from the redirect.
