Partially resolved by #6127, #6197 (for simple linking and rendering icons)

Workaround: for rendering images (and object descriptions elsewhere), refer to either
- [deevroman/better-osm-org](https://github.com/deevroman/better-osm-org?tab=readme-ov-file#other) (plugin; may duplicate osm.org features mentioned above)
- [MapComplete](https://mapcomplete.org/) / [OsmAPP](https://osmapp.org/) / [Cartes](https://cartes.app/) / etc. (web, PWA)
- [Organic Maps](https://organicmaps.app/) / [CoMaps](https://www.comaps.app/) / [OsmAnd](https://osmand.net/) / etc. (mobile)
