### Problem

When users see
> The OpenStreetMap database is currently in read-only mode while essential maintenance work is carried out.

Perhaps also mention
> This usually takes a few
> - minutes
> - hours
> - etc.

And maybe even give an estimate of when it will be over.

Or mention that there is no way to give an estimate.
