I'd be taking these dev envy proof measures _very_ carefully and _only_ for PRs with pretty visible ai involvement.
Why? Any upfront setup raises the barrier for contributions. Just look at these drive-by PRs of mine:
- #5396
- #5397
- #5426
- #5505
- #5507
Those were all botched together in the dev tools and committed via the github UI. Not because I didn't know better, but because I hadn't decided at that point if my involvement would be long enough for the setup investment to pay off.
Intent, however, is a very difficult thing to measure.
