The problem is that we'd need to create pages that are not useful otherwise. For example, right now we don't have a "GPX upload failure" page. If a GPX file fails to upload, all you get is the email notification (and now the entry in the notifications list). We could create a page only for this, but I don't think it's useful. Also, from a technical point of view, the page doesn't exist because there's no data left. To make the notification entry work, we had to store some data in the notification that doesn't exist anywhere else. A new page would need to be created from the notification, I guess? Or start storing additional data that we didn't need before, only for this. I don't like it 😞 

With the "new follower", I guess we could have it as the profile page of the follower. Feels a bit forced though.

And in the future we might have new types of notifications.
