I have updated the implementation to use Bootstrap's sticky-top and bg-body utility classes as suggested by @tomhughes. I also removed the custom CSS from common.scss and fixed the linting issues regarding argument alignment and trailing newlines. This should now be a cleaner implementation that remains consistent with the project's design system. Ready for another look!
