Quoting the OP for steps to reproduce:

> Somebody shared a certain OpenStreetMap link, https://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=24.2509623&mlon=120.7155809#map=19/24.250775/120.716086 with me.

Currently the workaround is to click the OSM logo in the corner, which removes the `mlat` and `mlon` parameters from the URL, then reload. I agree this isn’t discoverable.

#1791 is related. The user might use the context menu’s Directions From/To Here item to drop a pin on the map but then change their mind and want to clear that waypoint. There’s no obvious way to do that either: you can clear the from or to text field to remove the waypoint from consideration, but that doesn’t remove the pin. You can also hit ✖️ to close the directions pane, but the user might still want to get directions.
