The error message looks a bit like the issue discussed over here as option 1: https://github.com/protocolbuffers/protobuf/issues/11935#issuecomment-1433297205 -  removing the line `$LDFLAGS += " -Wl,-wrap,memcpy" `  in [protobuf/ruby/ext/google/protobuf_c/extconf.rb](https://github.com/protocolbuffers/protobuf/blob/c4ed9483146ac633a9f725f307f9ac60074d0f4d/ruby/ext/google/protobuf_c/extconf.rb#L17):

I can't really test this, though the linker errors point to an issue regarding `__wrap_memcpy'. Maybe you could raise an issue in that repo describing your specific setup in more detail.
