Don't worry, I didn't get taught any programming at Uni at all, so if you were taught a different language then you're still a step ahead of me!

I think this might be because we're pinning the version of sass-embedded, which limits the version of google-protobuf, which means we might be running into an old bug there. So the fix might be to release the pin on sass-embedded and we'll find the compilation bug might go away.
