Thanks @aNsHuL5217 for your review, I too think it's nearly there and just wanna take a closer look at how separable the button padding and icon centering cleanup is.
One more try to rebase this on dba377451d01f74fe70b96ce9d46f86b6689d492 or later would be nice for traceability, but given the troubles I see this is perfectly fine for me to do as well.
