For reference, here are the strings for [too many nodes](https://github.com/zerebubuth/openstreetmap-cgimap/blob/01e33669bfee17d55849d6f731a174b8058ca630/src/api06/map_handler.cpp#L29-L32) or [too large a bbox](https://github.com/zerebubuth/openstreetmap-cgimap/blob/01e33669bfee17d55849d6f731a174b8058ca630/src/api06/map_handler.cpp#L100-L102) in cgimap. I’m not too concerned about OHM either, because OHM maintains a fork of osm-website and monkeypatches cgimap to introduce more relevant strings to that implementation. But ideally we could make it a configuration variable.
The messages already mention “planet.osm”, which could be expanded to “planet.openstreetmap.org” for clarity. Or should we refer to https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Downloading_data instead for more explanation and alternatives?
