OK, I think now I understand: it's not a dropdown, it's two buttons, the second of which happens to be narrow and have an arrow pointing down. I think that's confusing as it'll be seen as a dropdown.

I'm realising now: what link is that? What does "Way 000000" link to? I can't see an equivalent in the current design and I can't think of what it can be. Perhaps a link to the way, but we are already looking at the way, or are we?
(I think we are getting somewhere with your mockups, by the way, I don't intend to sound negative).
