Let's stop playing cat-and-mouse games and face the blatant truth. This issue has been sitting here for an entire year while progress is completely stalled. It is incredibly obvious that the current overseers simply do not possess the necessary modern 3D graphics skill set to implement this change, and you are actively holding back real progress. The underlying vector data is already built, and modern graphics chips are fully capable of rendering this on the fly.Stop making excuses about resources and legacy limitations. If you do not know how to handle modern WebGL rendering, step aside and let experienced developers step in to update the homepage. I do not want or need any defensive comments or replies to this; just read the reality of the situation and get out of the way of progress.
