Do you mean notes? As far as I can see note addition doesn't enable autopan currently (though it probably should) but route markers do sometimes - if you drag an existing route marker then autopan is enabled but if you drag a new one in from the dialog then it isn't!

Ignoring that, the idea here is that this is a generic implementation of autopanning for maplibre to replace the builtin implementation in leaflet that we're currently using?
