I closed this because I was trying to read the room and didn't want to intrude. I absolutely understand the caution around AI-assisted PRs. You're getting flooded with low-effort submissions and it's on you to sort through them. That's not a burden I want to add to.

If you'd like me to reopen this with hlfan's feedback addressed (jQuery chaining instead of the extra variable), I'm happy to. Otherwise the fix is there if anyone wants to pick it up.
