[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] Kartaview streetside imagery not working - may be a problem in iD (rather than Kartaview) (Issue #7058)

### How to reproduce the issue?

1. Edit via https://www.openstreetmap.org/edit#map=19/51.535800/-0.008245 (though seems to affect all areas).
2. Turn on the Kartaview streetside imagery.
3. Click on one of the blue icons.
4. Streetside image panel appears at the bottom left and begins to load the image
5. Broken image icon appears quickly, and the 'spinner' keeps spinning. (see screenshot attached for an image of this state).

There has been some discussion on the community forum here:- https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/kartaview-anyone-else-finding-it-impossible-to-view-images-in-id/143487 - which suggests that

1. It's not just me
2. Something may have changed in the way KartaView expects its API to be used - it's returning the 'wrong' URLs possibly because the wrong domain is being used in the API call?  (See the posts from user [whb](https://community.openstreetmap.org/u/whb) for details)
