Honestly I don't think we know enough, or have a reliable enough reproducer, to work on this.

I'm not even sure how many bugs we're talking about - the original report seems to be talking about a spontaneous error from query features but that doesn't seem to be reliably reproducible and then the later comment is talking about a rather different scenario of clicking through multiple results and some of the highlights getting stuck which seems like a different bug to me.
