Hi,

When I export a route of openrouteservice.org as GPX file, the route is
described in a "track" <trk> element.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<gpx xmlns="... >
    <trk>
        <name>Route</name>
        <trkseg>
                    <trkpt lon="7.0804518" lat="50.7468635"/>
                    ...
                    <trkpt lon="7.0808326" lat="50.7469142"/>
        </trkseg>
    </trk>
</gpx>

GPX schema also knows the "route" <rte> element, and looking for some
explanation I read this definition:
http://www.gpsmap.net/BasicHints.html#waypointsRoutesTracks

Does someone know why openrouteservice.org uses the "track" <trk> and
not "route" <rte>?
Was there a reason not to take the <rte> element?

Daniel
