hi, list:
>From the project page:
  Preprocessing
    * RAM and disk usage is based on the graph size, e.g.:
o Germany 2GB RAM, 8GB free disc space
o Europe 10GB RAM, 27GB free disc space
o Planet 40GB RAM, 200GB free disc space

Client
    * 10MB RAM
    * Disk usage is based on the graph size and choice of plugins, e.g.:
          o Germany 500MB + renderer data
          o Europe 2.8MB + renderer data
          o Planet 9.8GB + renderer data

The ram usage of preprocessing seems really huge. Does it have some slim
mode(like Osm2pgsql).
The client ram usage is fairly small. The graph disk usage is also all
right. But the renderer data is too huge to fitting in most mobile device.
Currently, monav seems not to generate any preprocessed vector data for
rendering. And the render plugin is directly based on the original data.
As a whole mobile nav solution(from the glance of the thesis), will monav
have some binary vector map format and render plugin that is able to render
vector data?
For example, gosmore packs all the data in one binary file, and the
preprocessing is really fast and uses less ram and disk.

  Regards, zsj
