Perhaps another venue will be more productive.  Might we move to
telephone meetings, or perhaps discussions by email?

We've tentatively scheduled another IRC for Thursday, 06 January 2011.
 (2011! Can you believe it?)   Some earlier date would be possible too
should that be acceptable to others.
