I'm a TWG member with my own (fairly similar) transport map that is
also proposed for inclusion ( see
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Featured_tiles for more details).
I'm therefore going to recuse myself from this discussion, except to
say that I'd be glad to see either public-transport layer added to the
front page.
